Voltaic Systems just unveiled its Array ’10 Watts’ solar charger backpack that comes equipped with a removable solar pocket. It could be compared to the PowerBag Backpack that was reviewed here recently, except that the 10 Watts Solar Charger Backpack works with natural energy unlike the PowerBag that has to be recharged via a wall outlet.
The bag comes with three 3.4 Watt solar panels and a 16000mAh battery that can charge laptops, cell phones, tablets and digital cameras. It features a large 1,500 cubic inches of storage space, there is a padded laptop sleeve that can accomodate up to a 17-inch laptop, it has an integrated phone pouch and several other pockets. Just 12 hours of direct sunlight will fully recharge its 16000mAh battery but for those days when the sun fail to show us its face, you can power up the back with the included AC charger.
The Array Solar Charger Backpack weighs just 5.5 pounds which means there are no hassles to stroll around with it while you are on campus or on a camping trip with the family. It comes with the integrated battery and solar panels, if you require the services of the 10 Watts Solar Charger Backpack from Voltaic Systems it will set you back $389 and it only comes in the colors of Charcoal and Silver.
