Nintendo Wii with Google MapsGoogle Maps with street view is now available on the new Nintendo Wii U starting today as a free download on a limited time offer. Before the availability on the Nintendo Wii globally, it was only available in Japan. Even though it the very same Google Maps, the application is now called Wii Street U.

It will allow users of the Nintendo Wii to navigate through Google Maps just like you would on your computer or mobile device, but it also offers the user to view view the location from street level with Google’s Street View feature. Its uncertain as to how long the application will be available for free download or how much it will cost once the free period runs out!
