Earlier this week, Wikipad revealed the specifications for its new Wikipad gaming tablet that is expected to be shipped soon. The gaming tablet was initially unveiled at the CES in Las Vegas this year but unfortunately the new Wikipad gaming tablet will not initially ship with a 3D display, like a prototype that was showcased at the trade show.
The tablet comes equipped with a 10.1-inch IPS touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280×800 and a 16:10 aspect ratio. The Wikipad gaming tablet is powered by a NVIDIA Tegra 3 T30 1.4GHz quad-core processor, supported by 1GB of DDR2 RAM plus 16GB of onboard storage. There’s an 8-Megapixel camera on the rear of the device and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.
The gaming tablet also comes with a battery which promises to deliver 8 hours of video playback, and around 6 hours of continuous gaming. The tablet will be officially launched later this year and it will run the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS.
