X-Mini MAX II and X-mini II Capsule Speakers Review

X-Mini MAX II
A few days back we did the unboxing of the X-Mini Max II and the X-mini II Capsule Speakers and ever since they have replaced the speakers of my Panasonic Television. First of all I have to comment of the superb battery life of the X-Mini Max II, it comes with a built-in 5V 400mAh battery which takes 2.5 hours to recharge from a 5V input, the specs of the Max II says it will give up to 12 hours of playback, but I got up to two and a half days of playback from the units while using them on my television and I am telling you the only time my TV is off is when I am sleeping.

These speakers are really loud for the size, it measures 6.5.88mmx53.4mm and weighs 178g, so you know they are also lightweight but still they output sound that could be matched up to a mini sub-woofer. The X-Mini Max II Portable Speakers comes in the colors of Black, Red and White, they can be found out at Amazon for approximately US$48 or check out the X-Mini Website. It comes with a connecting cable which is also used to recharge the speakers using a USB port and a 3.5mm audio jack that will fit most Mp3 Players or any Notebook with a 3.5mm audio port, there is also a 3.5mm audio output on the back of each speaker (modular “Buddy Jack” design) just in-case you want to connect rows of minis. The Speakers base are magnetic, so they can interlock to form the shape of an egg and can be detached easily with a simple twist and lift. There is a LED light that display when the speakers are on and when they battery is low plus if you want sub-woofer sound and bass, simple twist and lift to open the Bass Xpansion System or BXS.

The X-mini II Capasule is like a brother to the Max II Portable Speaker and really offers sound beyond size. Just like the Max II it will work with Mobile Phones, MP3 player, Games and Notebooks for just any device that has a 3.5mm audio port.

It features the same twist and lift for Bass Xpansion System or BXS, it features a 40mm driver that delivers superb sound clarity and 11 hours of playback from a 2.5 hour recharge. No wonder it won the Red Dot Awards, you can get it over at Amazon for a price of $29.99
