Xiaomi has plans to release its Mi4 Smartphone in India in the coming weeks, over the past year the company has received its fair share of success in India, and it appears the company plans on riding that success. The company didn’t confirm an exact launch date for the eastern country, however it could arrive before the end of February.
The Mi4 falls into the mid-range category of devices, it comes fitted with an 5-inch display with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels and a 441 ppi pixel density.
The device is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor with Adreno 330 GPU, 3GB of RAM and the options to choose between 16GB or 64GB internal storage.
The device doesn’t support microSD cards since there’s no built-in slot. It also comes with dual cameras; an 13MP camera on the rear capable of capturing videos and images as well as an 8MP front-facing camera, a 3080mAh battery and runs on Android 4.4.3 KitKat with the company’s MIUI running on top. No pricing details were announced but we should have details on that shortly.
