YouTube signs deal with Virgin America

Virgin AmericaYouTube and Virgin America recently signed a deal, the new deal between the online streaming website and the U.S. airline, allows the streaming of YouTube content from partners to seat-back screens on Virgin America airplanes in the US and Mexico.

The airline will start streaming videos from YouTube starting on December 15th, passengers will be able to watch shows like “H+ The Digital Series,” “Blue,” “Written by a Kid,” “Crash Course” and “The Key of Awesome”, new series and shows are expected to be available every two months.

“Bringing YouTube aboard Virgin America is part of a larger effort to bring you more of the videos you love, at heights you’ve never seen them before,” said Kate Berland, YouTube Marketing Manager.
