ZTE has unveiled a number of smartphone at the on-going Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, in addition to the Mimosa X, PF112 and PF200 the chinese-based company also launched the ZTE Era, a smartphone that is powered by a Quad-core processor.
Measuring at only 7.8mm thick, the ZTE Era is equipped with a 4.3-inch touchscreen display that offers a 960×540 pixel resolution, the device is powered by NVIDIA’s Tegra 3 quad-core mobile processor that promotes battery life and runs Android 4.0 ICS. Specs-wise, the Era has 8GB of internal storage, an 8-megapixel camera that has autofocus, LED flash and 1080p HD recording function, a front-facing camera for video calls and like the Mimosa X, it also gets NVIDIA’s Icera 450 HSPA+ modem.
The smartphone supports Bluetooth, WiFi 802.11, GPS, DLNA wireless media sharing and MHL for HDMI output. It supports GSM, EDGE, WCDMA 3G as well as HSPA+ mobile networks, the ZTE Era will be launched in Europe and China in the second half of 2012.
